Evaluation: Question 8 Double Page

Here is another screenshot from Facebook about my double page, I agree with the post production feedback regarding the strengths about my double page as I used the drop capital to make it more interesting and to inform my audience this is the start of the subject.

Regarding the weaknesses of my double page I agree more colloquial language could have been used as it was a grime interview but also I thought if I used colloquial language through out I would not meet the full potential of my magazine. Writing in standard english could attract that niche audience, that has not been attracted from my other pages. Also this was the last page I intended to throw everything possible to attract my audience and the niche audience.

Evaluation: Question 8 Contents Page

Here is another screen shot from Facebook where I collected feedback on my contents page, the reason why i had to maintain my colour scheme was to keep my audience attracted and focused on the main point of my magazine. I had to lay my columns out neatly as I wasn't trying to over crowd my page.
I used this picture as it was my main image and focus.

Evaluation: Question 8 Front Cover

Here is my post production feedback via Facebook, I uploaded my front cover onto Facebook and picked at random who I wanted to comment on it...
As you can he list two strengths and weaknesses. I have reflected on these comments and agree to some extent with the weaknesses and strengths. I do believe some more 'buzz' words such as Free, exclusive could have been used to attract a niche audience. The reason i didn't include a dateline was because I had already included a issue number.

As for the strengths I acknowledged this and think a good job has been done to make the Front cover very eye catching as it is the most important page. I used the boxes because I felt without them the text did not stand out as I wanted it to, A large text was used because Grime is very loud music so I adapted the loudness to a big size of font.
